Review: Belle By Night (Dommes By Night #1) by Rachell Nichole

belle by nightDisclaimer: I am friends with the author; however, I purchased this ebook for full price.

Having absolutely zero experience with how the phone sex industry works, this was a fun, escapist story. I will always be a fan of three-dimensional characters and romances with a unique “meet-cute.”

Because of the afore-mentioned lack of experience with the industry, the interactions between Belle and Dean were as believable as the interactions between Belle’s real-world persona Anna and Dean. Anna’s fear of discovery offered a layer of conflict that heightened the tension beyond the romance, and I especially cheered her on in her personal goal of starting an affordable day-care center.

I have a minor quibble about the odds of a phone sex operator communicating “by chance” with two people connected so close to her daytime life, but it was easy to shrug that off and enjoy the story.

Looking forward to seeing more of what this series holds!

Rating: 4 (out of 5) stars. Cross-posted to Amazon and Goodreads.
