Magic BindsOnce again, Ilona Andrews delivers a fast-paced novel with unique characters and plenty of drama and humor. I’m a sucker for a wedding, and we’re quickly approaching Kate and Curran’s (finally!). But Kate’s evil overlord father has set up shop right outside Atlanta, and Kate has bigger things to worry about than dress fittings and cake flavors (but people keep thrusting these things at her, which is hysterical).

I can tell this series is careening toward an epic conclusion, finally, with this novel. On the one hand, it is long past time for Kate and Curran to get their happily ever after. On the other, I’m so in love with this world that I’ll be sad to see it go. Every time I think Andrews has run out of crazy mythology to spring on me, I’m proven wrong, and this book is no exception. There are plenty of jaw-dropping moments in this novel that made it difficult to put down.

It’ll be hard to top the dramatic finale of this novel, so I know the next book is going to be even more epic. I can’t wait.

Rating: 5 (out of 5) stars. Cross-posted to Amazon and Goodreads.

  1. I am so behind on this series. I need to sit down and catch up. I’m at least…. two books behind? Maybe three if you count whichever one comes out this year.
