STEEL MAGIC Launch Party Recap

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to East City Bookshop in Washington DC last night for the official launch party for my second novel, Steel Magic!

This independent bookstore was a great space for an event, and the staff was very welcoming. I’m really glad that I had such a great experience for my first official launch party of a book. Last year’s debut of Steel Victory at the mass Seton Hill book signing was also a blast, but sometimes it’s fun to be the center of attention. 😉

I read a short action scene from the novel that ends on one of my favorite cliffhangers in the book. As you can see, I’m very concerned while reading. Will Toria and Kane make it out alive??

After a few questions from the audience, the crowd dispersed to eat delicious cake while I signed books. I also raffled off some prizes, including a free copy of Steel Magic and a custom nail polish designed to match the cover of the book! Though the “Steel Magic” polish shown above was a custom limited run, the quality is great and I highly recommend checking out other colors by Comet Vomit.

Thanks again to everyone who came out, and especially to my amazing writing group who helped me organize and set up for the event!
