I’ve been so excited for all my epic summer plans for so long that to have them be halfway over is breaking my heart a little. Last month, I spent a lovely week in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and took a fabulous weekend trip to Connecticut for a book signing. Luckily, I’ve still got a cruise to look forward to this month, and I’m already booking events and travel for summer 2025.
On the home front, I rearranged my production schedule for the second half of this year and took a much-needed month off from writing after the whirlwind of Service Before Self‘s publication, which came down to a very stressful wire. Instead, I knocked a bunch of to-do items off the list for the marketing side of this self-publishing venture (table runner! bookmarks! swag!) that I’m excited to show off at upcoming events. It’s been fun to stretch that side of my creativity for a bit, but now I’m more than ready to dive into my next writing projects.
